Exhibition in the Studio Wilhelmstraße, opening on December 3, 2026 on 7 p.m.. Introduction by Dr. Verena Jendrus (Art historian), Stuttgart.

Earth spots, marks, drawings, found objects, objects, containers
The “earth spots” form the starting point of the exhibition; they refer directly to the history and circumstances of the site, which have been inscribed on the ground in the form of traces and injuries. Soil from around the world, as well as sediment from the ocean, mark these traces—subtly, inconspicuously, almost to the point of being overlooked. The earth spots can be interpreted as signs—remnants that point to the people who have worked in these spaces and continue to do so. They form boundaries and transitions into fine lines drawn between the earth spots. This creates a floor drawing in the front room, the extent of which will be determined on site. The use of soils from around the world and sediments from the depths of the ocean expands the local boundaries and opens the space into other realms.
In addition, drawings created with oil shale (1999) are on view, as well as works on canvas incorporating earth, stone, and various substances. Found and artificial artifacts and objects are placed throughout both rooms. Once again, I am constructing on a kind of shelter—a sculptural object made of branches—that I exhibited in the show Nature Body in 2025.

The exhibition is on view from December 3–13, 2026: Studio Wilhelmstrasse 16 (3. floor), Wilhelmstrasse 16, 70372 Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt
