I am very pleased that my work “Zeppelin-Weltfahrten” (Zeppelin World Tours) has been selected for the 2026 Photo Summer at The Gällery – Space for Photography at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. The title of this year’s exhibition is “UNORDNUNG” (Disorder).

The starting point for this work is a collecting album I found at a flea market. It was started in 1938 by an unknown collector, who carefully pasted the collectible images into an accounting ledger and added handwritten notes, which he entered with great care. Not only are the historical motifs special, but so are the traces of use: the aged paper, the glue marks, the handwriting, and the blank spaces. In my photographs, these details take center stage and offer a new perspective on the album as both a historical document and a material art object.

Opening at THE GÄLLERY:
Fri, July 17, from 6 p.m. to midnight
Admission to the opening party and the evening opening is through the entrance of the Alte Staatsgalerie.

Admission is free, and the exhibition can be visited on July 17 between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
